Enjoy three nights in Reykjavík with a relaxing Iceland Stopover Tour. Your trip includes a guided day exploring the famous Golden Circle, where you’ll visit Þingvellir National Park, the erupting Strokkur geyser, and the stunning Gullfoss waterfall.
You can also choose to add a separate day tour to the Blue Lagoon, where geothermal waters surrounded by lava fields provide a truly unique spa experience. In the evening, you have the option of joining a one-time Northern Lights hunt, with expert guides selecting the best countryside viewing spots based on weather and aurora forecasts. A perfect mix of culture, nature, and relaxation.
Day 1: Welcome to Iceland
Upon arrival in Iceland, make your own way to your hotel in Reykjavík for your first overnight stay. An optional airport transfer is available when booking. Spend the evening discovering Reykjavík’s cosy cafés, local shops, and vibrant cultural attractions.
Day 2: Explore the Golden Circle & Optional Evening Northern Lights Excursion
Discover Iceland’s most famous sightseeing route — the Golden Circle — a must for first-time visitors. Explore the dramatic rift valleys of Þingvellir National Park, watch Strokkur geyser erupt, and admire the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, which in winter is often framed by ice.
For those travelling in the darker months, you may choose to add a Northern Lights excursion, guided by local experts who will take you to the best possible viewing spots away from city lights. This optional evening tour is typically scheduled for your second night, with flexibility to move to later evenings if conditions are not favourable.
Note: The Golden Circle Tour operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Therefore, it may not always take place on day 2 of your trip — the exact day will depend on which weekday you book. This will also determine the order of any optional tours you choose to include in your itinerary.
Day 3: Optional Visit to the Blue Lagoon
Free day in Reykjavík or relax in the world-renowned Blue Lagoon, with its steaming, mineral-rich waters nestled in a lava field. This rejuvenating experience is available as an optional add-on and can be arranged during booking.
Day 4: Farewell to Iceland
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head to Keflavík International Airport. An optional transfer is available if pre-booked. Leave Iceland with lasting impressions of natural wonders.

About the optional Northern Lights Tour: While we would love to guarantee sightings, the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be assured. We schedule your Northern Lights tour for Day 2. If conditions are unfavourable and the lights do not appear, you’ll have the opportunity to join the tour again on a later night during your stay.
