| Reykjavik City Break for the Swedish market | | Reykjavik is definitely growing as a City Break destination on the Scandinavian Market. Snaeland Grimsson Travel is now offering weekly departure for FIT Reykjavik City Break tour with Swedish speaking guide from beginning of May to end of October. This tour is operated from Thursday to Sunday, including airport transfer with bath in the Blue Lagoon, half day Reykjavik city sightseeing and the Golden Circle excursion with the famous Geysir thermal area, waterfall Gullfoss and National Park Thingvellir. | Harvest time | | | The summer 2007 was very busy and we organised and operated tours around Iceland for around 6.000 travellers in the period of June-August. Although the summer is still the busiest season for Iceland tours the spring starting in early March and autumn until November is increasing in popularity due to better prices and different products and activities on offer. The German market is still the strongest but the Scandinavian market has really been picking up in recent years and visits Iceland around the year while the Germans are still focusing on the summertime. | |
